The following charges apply for private-paying treatment at Ashburn Clinic.
Please note: our fees will be increasing on the 1st of September 2026 due to inflationary cost pressure.

Inpatient (Residential Hospital)

24-hour inpatient care: $5,010 per week on average (depending on varied costs for individual therapy and medication).

Inpatient (Alexander House)

Alexander House: $3,040 per week (depending on varied costs for individual therapy and medication).

Addictions Programme

The Addictions Programme is 11 weeks total, including managed withdrawal. Fees are broken down as follows:

  • Assessment Phase (2 weeks): $9,680
  • 1-week detoxification plus 2-week assessment: $14,150
  • Treatment Phase (8 weeks): $35,160

If medically managed withdrawal (detoxification) is required, this is typically an additional week at $5,010. 

Please note: one-week managed withdrawal is sufficient for most substances including alcohol. However, sometimes a longer period is required (e.g. from benzodiazepines or opioids) in which case a timeframe and cost will be discussed with you.

At this stage we do not admit patients for managed withdrawal only.

Day Programme Treatment

Our Day Programme is for those who live off-site but attend the Monday to Friday programme: $1,745 per week.

Outpatient Services

  • Initial Assessments:
    Consultant Psychiatrist: $1,150  
    Psychiatric Registrar: $815
    Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber: $320 for the first hour, then $215 per hour or part thereof
  • Ongoing Services:
    Consultant Psychiatrist: $460/hour
    Psychiatric Registrar: $330/hour
    Psychotherapist: $160/hour
    Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber: $215/hour
    Prescriptions between appointments: $35 each

Appointments are charged in 15-minute blocks and will include the assessment time with the clinician, and may also include the time taken to prepare any reports required. Costs will be confirmed at the time the appointment is confirmed. Prices quoted include GST.

Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a fee.

rTMS Treatment

Treatment package: $4,700

Our package includes an initial psychiatric assessment, a consent and fitting session, and 30 individual sessions. Sessions occur once every weekday for six consecutive weeks.

The initial assessment and consent/fitting sessions are charged separately. The 30 individual sessions are required to be paid before treatment starts and is not refundable.

Follow-up treatments after this are recommended ($215 per session).

Costs will be confirmed with you before your first appointment.

Mental Health Medication Review

  • Initial appointment (assessment plus a written plan): $320 for the first hour, then $215 per hour or part thereof.
  • Follow-up appointment (up to 30 minutes duration): $215 per hour or part thereof. 

Please note: Some medications are not funded and may incur an additional cost.
