Introducing the Femenome®: Essential Knowledge for Our Work With Women

Presented by Jane Catherine Severn, Psychotherapist, Luna House (Christchurch)

About This Seminar

Something has long been missing from the theory, training and practice of psychotherapy and related professions – something ordinary and obvious, present in 50% of humanity 100% of the time, yet so long excluded from cultural status and discourse that we don’t even notice its peculiar absence from our professional frames of reference.

The femenome® is a phenomenological model of the feminine psycho-spiritual developmental design within the 4M life-sequence of menarche, menstrual cycle years, menopause and mature life. A new understanding of hormones reveals them as essential allies in therapy with women, and the perplexing array of symptoms they produce as potent and purposeful catalysts of a specifically feminine consciousness.

For practitioners of all genders, this presentation brings intriguing new insights to enrich and deepen both personal life and therapeutic success with clients and couples.

Recorded live at Ashburn Clinic on the 14th of October 2024.
