Psychotherapy Traineeship at the Ashburn Clinic

One of the aims of the Ashburn Clinic Charitable Trust is to promote the study of psychiatry and psychiatric practice. The Trust runs several training programmes to help achieve this aim.
Since 1994, the Trust has offered a place in a full-time, three-year training position in psychotherapy to one selected applicant each year. The selected trainee becomes an employee of Ashburn Clinic during their period of training.
Trainees who successfully complete the training programme are awarded a certificate of completion of the Psychotherapy Training Programme and a certificate of completion of the Ashburn Clinic Advanced Theory of Psychotherapy modular series, which is a required component of the training programme.
Ashburn Clinic has decided not to offer a traineeship for the 2017 year. We have made significant changes to our therapeutic programme in recent months, and our staff and patients have decided to focus on fully implementing those changes during the year ahead.
